INFORMAZIONI SULL'EVENTO
DESCRIZIONE

Giornata incentrata sulla condivisione delle azioni che vedono il nostro Centro di Educazione ed Esperienza Ambientale costantemente impegnato nella conservazione e divulgazione della biodiversità e del patrimonio socio – ambientale. Il Lupo Appenninico come esempio di un antico rapporto tra gli abruzzesi e la natura

TEMA
L’incontro mira alla condivisione delle conoscenze, degli aspetti gestionali e della ricerca sul Lupo Appenninico ed i suoi ambienti, come spaccato delle azioni di conservazione intraprese dall’Ente Parco Nazionale della Majella, attraverso il Centro di Educazione ed Esperienza Ambientale.

COSA POSSIAMO IMPARARE DURANTE LA GIORNATA:
La biologia e l’etologia del lupo Appenninico,
I branchi e la loro distribuzione territoriale,
Le azioni di tutela e salvaguardia della specie,
Le minacce,
Le tecniche di monitoraggio delle popolazioni e degli individui,
Le caratteristiche dell’area faunistica di Pretoro.
Le tradizioni e le storie legate al lupo.
I primi elementi del bosco nella diversità di forme e colori sul piano delle relazioni e percezioni

OBIETTIVI:

Favorire le conoscenze sul Lupo Appenninico attraverso un corretto approccio al problema

Portare a conoscenza degli ospiti le azioni concrete di difesa del patrimonio naturale e culturale del nostro parco

Comprendere il modello socio-evolutivo della nostra regione

Condividere le scelte di fondo sul piano scientifico-gestionale

Ammirare insieme la bellezza di animali da sempre protagonisti dell’immaginario collettivo

PROGRAMMA

Ore 09:15 Appuntamento presso l’Area Faunistica Loc. Calvario di Pretoro (Lat.42.21205494 Long. 14.13286574) con guida all’osservazione degli esemplari di Lupo Appenninico ospitati.

Ore 10:30 Trasferimento presso il CEA IL GRANDE FAGGIO di Pretoro

Ore 11:00 “Noi predatori…” Breve laboratorio di anatomia comparata per piccoli e grandi con coffee break di prodotti tipici

Difficoltà: Turistico – T

Itinerari su strade, stradine, mulattiere e comodi sentieri, con percorsi ben evidenti e che non pongono incertezze o problemi di orientamento. Costituiscono di solito l’accesso ad alpeggi o rifugi. Richiedono una minima preparazione fisica alla camminata.

Difficoltà generale: Escursioni facili, 1-3 ore al giorno (escluse le pause) in aree urbane, periurbane, collinari e montuose, su strade o sentieri ben tenuti e segnalati, a volte ripidi con dislivelli tra i 100 e i 500 metri. Richiedono una buona preparazione fisica alla camminata.

Attrezzatura: Sono necessarie scarpe Training/Outdoor. Si consiglia abbigliamento a strati, Kway o giacca antipioggia, zainetto, acqua, macchina fotografica, bastoncini se si è soliti usarli.
